Dr. Christine James is a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with diverse populations to help aid her clients in achieving their goals and living happier, healthier lives. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders, chronic illness, PTSD and trauma related disorders.
Dr. James draws on a variety of modalities to meet the needs of each client, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) and Imagery Rehearsal Therapy (IRT) for the treatment of PTSD. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT) and Mindfulness for anxiety disorders and stress management.
Dr. James has extensive experience helping veterans (especially those who have faced Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and has experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, particularly individuals who identify as Trans and gay couples who are seeking relationship therapy.
Dr. James serves her clients from a place of knowledge, compassion and care. In her spare time, Dr. James enjoys travelling, cooking, watching movies and keeping up with the playful antics of her cat.
Debbie Jackson, LISW-S, LISW-CP, is a licensed independent social worker specializing in trauma informed care. She is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure, with additional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Ms. Jackson utilizes mindfulness and meditation to support clients struggling with emotional dysregulation, and the Grief Recovery Method to assist clients in moving forward with their grief. Ms. Jackson's intention is to support her client's in the achievement of their goals. Ms. Jackson has extensive experience in working with trauma survivors, including combat warriors, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Ms. Jackson is skilled in holding space, from a point of compassion, for clients to work through their issues. When not providing individual or couples therapy, Ms. Jackson enjoys spending time with her family, her pets, and in her kitchen.
