Sara Bates, LISW-S is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Supervision Designation who works with adolescents and adults seeking meaningful, supportive change. Her practice is grounded in trauma-informed care and thoughtfully integrates family and perinatal therapy, sex-positive therapy, and couples counseling.
Sara draws from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), while also offering integrative, mind–body support as a Certified Reiki Master and Teacher. This holistic blend allows her to help clients regulate their nervous systems, reduce stress, and build emotional resilience—not just through insight, but through embodied healing.
At the heart of Sara’s work is a deep respect for each client’s lived experience. She meets people exactly where they are, moving at a pace that feels safe, grounded, and sustainable. Therapy with Sara is not about fixing or performing; it’s about creating a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with yourself—layer by honest layer.
Sara holds a steady belief in the human capacity for growth, even after trauma, grief, or long-term stress. Whether you’re looking for help navigating relationships, processing complex emotions, strengthening coping skills, or simply having a place to be seen and heard without judgment, Sara tailors her approach to meet what you need in each moment.
